About Kulanu

Kulanu was established in 2018 to provide Torah-based educational, spiritual, and social programming for Jewish students in grades 8 to 12 who are not attending Jewish Day school, inspiring them and their families to feel more connected to their heritage.

Our Mission

Kulanu’s mission is to provide Torah-based educational, spiritual and social programming to Jewish teens who are not currently attending a Jewish Day School.

The goals of Kulanu are:

  1. To engage with Jewish teens beyond the traditional Hebrew after school model.
  2. To further cultivate the connections that Jewish teenagers have to Judaism, so that they can live more knowledgeable, committed, and Torah-inspired lifestyles.
  3. To inspire Jewish students and their families anywhere, with our new virtual expansion.
  4. Teach teens Jewish History & Hebrew Language while earning college credits.

Kulanu was a lifechanging experience for me. The teacher was full of energy and taught us how important Judaism is in our life. We learned about the holidays , the importance of prayer and Jewish traditions. Kulanu taught me an appreciation of being Jewish that I can carry with me for the rest of my life.

We are so fortunate that my child found Kulanu. Even during a pandemic Kulanu was a shining light. My daughter looked forward to her weekly classes. They were engaging, informative and thought provoking. My daughter is continuing her Jewish studies because of the path the Kulanu set her on. I would highly recommend Kulanu for any child that is interested in growing their Jewish connection.
